Wilbur is a one year old neutered male Micro potbelly pig. We rescued him from Lafayette Animal Control. He was probably not socialized before he came to us so is shy at first. He is good with other farm animals that he has been introduced to: pigs, goats, ducks and chickens. We feed him Mazuri mini potbelly feed in the am, and fresh produce (greens and veggies) in the evening. As long as you don't over feed him, or feed him the wrong foods, then he will stay the size of a small to medium sized dog. He had an ear infection, but he was treated for it at Fontenot Veterinary Clinic in Opelousas. Adoption fee is $80.00 which only covers what our vet charges for a pig neuter, and does not even include the cost of his ear infection treatment. He is already castrated.
